Lyon Airbnb and the meublé de tourisme register

Airbnb hosts in Lyon follow the same Ville de Lyon rules as other platforms. Start from the official lyon.fr declaration page, not a direct e-services bookmark alone.

Registration number on Airbnb

After declaration via https://www.lyon.fr/demarche/logement-habitat/declarer-un-meuble-de-tourisme, paste the municipal number into Airbnb's France field and mirror it on other channels.

90-night cap (primary residence)

Primary residence whole dwellings are capped at 90 nights per year on lyon.fr. Use Host Registry night cap tracking with iCal. lyon.fr does not list a specific overrun fine.

Non-primary and hypercentre

Non-primary rentals need changement d'usage before the registration number authorizes anything. Hypercentre: compensation from 1st m². Outside hypercentre under 35 m² as a natural person: confirm compensation rules with Service habitat (04 26 99 62 18, habitat.usages@mairie-lyon.fr). See the full Lyon STR guide for step order.
