Dublin Airbnb and the Ireland STL register

Dublin hosts use the same national Fáilte Ireland STL register as the rest of Ireland. Planning is handled by your local authority, not Fáilte. The register portal is not yet open as of October 2026.

National register readiness

Prepare host and unit data (including Eircode), self-declaration readiness and one STL number per unit when the portal opens. Fáilte lists exclusions such as hotels, apartment hotels, hostels and camping or RV parks; Citizens Information also lists motels and guesthouses.

Airbnb listing display

When you have an STL number, add it to your Airbnb listing and every other channel. Use Host Registry listing health to mark whether the number is present on each channel.
